For a easy cleaning tutorial:
1. Open up your image
2. Press ctrl+J or Layer>Layer Via Copy
3. On your copy, got to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Set Radius to 3 pixels
4. Set copy layer to any blending mode you prefer. (I would prefer Overlay or Soft Light)
5. When you're satisfied, go to Layer> Merge Visible.
6. Save your image, and you're done!

You forgot one thing, this "wall" isn't a wall because it isn't in wall size. If you're going to submit it as a wall, you better actually make it into a wall. Otherwise, this is just piece of Graphic Art.

i'm not certain what you mean by artifacts, but i cut the image of Faye out and created the rest from scratch.

ok, i've totally redesigned the wally.
kept it in line with what NGE is about.

Never once thought about a FAMILY wallpaper. i've always thought of it more of an adult thing. but hey, i have kids too.

For some reason i had 2001 - A Space Oddesy in my brain, kinda like a song that you cant get out of there.

i jazzed it up a bit with a glass effect and an abstract background i made some time ago.

Hard to tell what will be accepted and what wont.

I've been reading here that most of you prefer the pen tool.

I use PS 7.0 and use the magic wand, eraser and extraction tool. have not thought about or used the pen tool, but i'm going to give it a shot.

any tips for using the pen tool?
